This unique day provides an opportunity for all those who are interested in the work of the What Matters to Children team, to reflect on the effectiveness and further development of their approach. If you have already committed time, money and resources to the What Matters to Children materials, or are considering doing so, this day is an opportunity to review that investment, evaluate what you have achieved so far or consider what you plan to do, and look to the future.
On the day you will work with the What Matters to Children team to

  • discuss the work of a variety of people using the What Matters to Children materials
in the field of early years and primary education

  • consider ways of developing the What Matters to Children approach in your work
    with children and educators

  • explore the ways in which the principles underpinning the What Matters to Children materials can be used to support and develop high quality provision.

Before the event a number of short papers will be circulated to delegates in preparation for discussion on the day. These are being prepared by people already involved in using the What Matters to Children materials, including headteachers, other educators, local authority staff, authors/researchers, key organisations, and members of the What Matters to Children team

£98.00* per delegate including refreshments and lunch. *prices are subject to VAT
